Two Golf On The Edge books by Ross Biddiscombe look closely at the lives and fortunes of the journeymen golfers on the PGA European Tour. The books have been over three years in the making, involved over 200 interviews with golfers, caddies, family members, agents, officials and all manner of people involved in the Qualifying School tournament, golf’s least-known but most gripping event of every season. Golf On The Edge: Triumphs & Tragedies Of Q School was published this June 2008. Golf On The Edge 2: Q School Complete is the latest in the series and is on sale from July 2009.

This website provides information about the books, the author who wrote them, the players who featured in them and also the tournament around which both are centred. The website www.golfontheedge.co.uk will serve as a growing archive of material about the PGA European Tour Q School; it will become a resource for players and fans who wish to know more about the tournament and also a place where golfers in the lower echelons of pro tournament golf have a voice and a place to be the main focus.
